Pierre Antoye & Lizzie HAyES - OsteopathS

One Life. One Health.

Bonjour

Welcome to One Health Osteopathy.

Pierre Antoye specialises in helping patients with difficult situations who aren’t getting better very easily - to get back on track.

He helps people to take charge of their own healing by kicking off the process and then making sure you have the tools to make it sustainable. He takes the time to explain and help you understand the root of the problem, why it’s there and how to solve it. He tries to make difficult concepts easy to understand, without using lots of medical jargon.

Background

Pierre was born and grew up in the countryside near Lyon, France. He originally came to England to train and study, but liked it so much that he decided to stay!! He graduated from the European School of Osteopathy, Maidstone in 2006 www.eso.ac.uk and is a fully qualified registered Osteopath (No:6298) and is GDPR compliant.

Today, Pierre owns and runs the Orchard Clinic www.orchardclinic.co.uk , but divides his time between two busy practices including; Thrapston and Northampton to ensure he can treat his patients across the county.

Experience

Pierre treats many conditions presented to the clinics from all ages, activities and professions (e.g. manual workers, sports people, adolescents, office workers and active older people to name a few), staying true to the osteopathic motto: “To keep you younger for longer”.

He has also been treating babies, children and pregnant mums since joining the university clinic in 2006 with great success. Working with Jas Jones (Love2Latch - Tongue Tie Practitioner, Registered Midwife and Supervisor of Midwives) has been a great privilege, in particular helping little ones following a Tongue Tie division (tongue tie).

His approach combines various tools from very gentle to more dynamic structural techniques depending on the needs of the patient. For example, he would use cranial osteopathy for little ones and pregnant mothers, but a more dynamic treatment for a healthy but injured rugby player. He is pleased to promote an analytical approach to treatment, systematically checking the different parts of the body that are painful and tracing the problem back to where it originated, avoiding being focused solely on the area of pain.

Pierre ensures that all his patients receive a factual yet simple explanation of their situation, his assessment of the cause and an honest estimation of how long recovery is likely to take. He strongly believes in team work and cooperating with other health professionals such as GP’s and personal trainers.

In his spare time, Pierre enjoys hiking, classic cars, and motorbikes.

Lizzie Hayes

Lizzie bring her gentleness, vast and fresh osteopathic and medical knowledge to the treatment room. She enjoys treating all adults and children, but specialises in under 18’s especially newborns. She also has an extensive knowledge around pelvic health, and is trained in completing Mummy MOT’s.

Lizzie grew up in Northamptonshire and returned after completing her Masters degree at the University College of Osteopaths with Distinction in 2019. In addition, she has since completed two, year-long, Postgraduate certificates in Paediatric (Child), and Animal Osteopathy. She is one of only a few osteopaths who hold the extra paediatric post-graduate qualification in Northamptonshire. This reflects her interest in treating babies and children (of any age!), which she uses a variety of treatment techniques for, including cranial, functional and structural techniques in her treatment, depending on the age and requirements of the child. Lizzie also specialises in treating pre and post-natal women, and women’s health (pelvic floor).

She works closely with several tongue-tie practitioners, and has helped hundreds of parents on their feeding journeys with their child, where releasing muscle and joint tensions can help the child’s symptoms.

Before studying Osteopathy, Lizzie was a gymnastics coach which is where her interest in the human body started. Lizzie enjoys the variety and versatility that osteopathy brings, treating all ages. with no two days or treatments ever being the same!

In her spare time, Lizzie enjoys keeping active with her Fiancé, Pierre, and dog, Tula. You’ll also find her doing lots of dog training, keeping fit, with CrossFit, and loves exploring new places to eat!
